Connoisseur Travel (CTL) is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Technology Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of travel agency automation as well as a solid understanding of IT/network support.

The goal is to make everyone’s work easier and more efficient by using technology. Interact with our management team regularly providing project updates, while displaying our company values and mission statement at all times which is to provide exceptional service and upgrade expectations to the team members whom you support.

Primary responsibilities include administering, maintaining, and supporting all of CTL’s technology systems including (but not limited to):

  • Local networks and internet connectivity
  • Telephone and communication systems
  • Cloud environment
  • Microsoft 365
  • Public website and private intranet (WordPress)
  • Agency point-of-sale systems
  • Agency CRM tools
  • Online booking platforms
  • Profile management tools
  • Quality control and auto-ticketing applications
  • Unused ticket tracking
  • Itinerary management and duty-of-care systems
  • Accounting systems
  • Reporting applications

Qualifications:

  • Strong travel technology background
  • 5+ years travel industry experience
  • Current Sabre experience
  • Be a creative thinker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • Strong sense of urgency as well as flexibility to change
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Work well with a team but also work independently when necessary

Connoisseur Travel (CTL) is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager who succeeds in a dynamic and high-motivation environment. The Business Development Manager will contribute to the growth of CTL by bringing in leads and securing corporate travel accounts.

The ideal candidate has strong experience selling directly to high level executives. They will be expected to present customized solutions and a compelling value proposition to the customer’s executive level staff to close profitable sales.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to build strong client relationships
  • Excellent presentation skills with groups of all sizes and levels of management
  • Excellent influencing and contract/commercial negotiation skills
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Analysis experience should include working with clients to develop business requirements and business process reviews
  • Must be able to work independently to achieve sales goals
  • Ability to travel to meet the demands of the prospective clients
