I was raised always believing that the best way to understand the world is to experience it. I was born to two military parents whose careers took them, and later myself and my sisters, all over the world. I quickly fell in love with the experience of traveling – every aspect of it – the adventure, the destination, the people, the culture, the food, the history.

To this day when I travel, it’s not simply to see the world, but to experience it. This love brought me here to Connoisseur Travel where I am now able to share my knowledge and to help others experience destinations that truly take their breath away.

When traveling, my goal is to find places off the beaten path, to become familiar with the history and culture of each destination, and to find at least one unique experience in each place.

In Antarctica I camped under the stars on an ice shelf listening to the whales blow and the ice calving. In Greece I ran a lap around the track in the original stadium of the modern-day Olympic Games. In Grand Cayman I snorkeled with hundreds of sea turtles at the Cayman Turtle Centre.

Each one of the experiences I’ve had has truly changed the way I feel and think and view and understand the world. I look forward to being a part of your travel stories and helping to create unique experiences for you and your family.
