As Executive Vice President and Partner of Connoisseur Travel, Eric is primarily responsible for maintaining Connoisseur Travel’s presence in the community and providing strategic direction, business strategy and overall leadership to the organization.
Since joining Connoisseur in 2010, he has helped bring the company from $10M in annual sales to over $75M by increasing their corporate business, growing a very successful leisure department and creating a successful GDS & air hosting program.
He provides leadership, management and the vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Prior to Connoisseur, Eric served 13 years as Director of Information Technology at Executive Travel Associates, successfully introducing and utilizing the latest in travel industry technology.
A veteran of all aspects of the rapidly evolving travel industry, Eric has led the way in integrating cutting edge systems at every level. He started early in his career as an agent handling government and corporate accounts and quickly moved into quality control and information systems positions. His focus has always been on how automation and technology can be used to make travel services more efficient and accessible.
Eric is a member of the Signature Travel Network Board of Directors, an active member of the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) as a premium member and active on their Corporate Advisory Council (CAC). He also sits on several industry advisory boards and is celebrating his 33rd year in the travel business.
A native of Washington DC, Eric resides in the Colonial Village neighborhood. In his spare time, Eric has been heavily involved with various volunteer and community organizations and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
