Kim’s travel story began some 35+ years ago when she stopped her car on the Van Wyck Expressway in New York, climbed up on a fence and watched the planes taking off from LaGuardia Airport. That’s the day she knew that whatever she did for the rest of her life, an airplane would figure prominently in it. With clouds in her eyes and jet fumes in her hair, she created a life that took her from loading cargo and baggage on military and civilian air planes to flying around the world as an Air Force Flight Engineer and overseeing flight operations as a Station Manager for Delta Air Lines.

Her early travels were short in duration and jammed pack with different destinations. She was a master at combat shopping and sightseeing and would have just enough exposure to different cultures and lifestyles to know that she would revisit them again. Now when she travels, her focus is not just on seeing the popular tourism sites but on immersing herself into the culture to experience how the local people live their day to day lives. Kim believes that travel is an experience everyone should have. It should be fun, exhilarating, relaxing and educational. Through traveling, Kim feels she has a better understanding of how the world and its people come together.

Although she’s traveled to many different countries around the world including Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and South America, her most memorable travels have been to Italy, France, Australia, Hawaii and the Caribbean. Kim thrives on researching the various aspects of a destination and putting together complex travel itineraries based on the needs and expectations of her traveler. She creates journeys that incorporate a good mix of activities that stimulate the mind and body, and soothe your soul.
